Welcome to Chestnut Children's Events
Chestnut Children's Events is a non-profit organisation set up to help
young children develop skills and attributes to build confidence in themselves
and understanding of the world around them. To do this by way of facilitating
Children's workshops delivered to groups in the community that supports the
current “Every Child Matters” initiative.
Members of Chestnut believe that each child is unique and will help develop
their potential in an active community environment. We believe it's what's
inside that counts, and we as members feel it is our aim to help them learn
in a fun and informal environment.
Within this website you will be able to access information about the various
outreach
workshops we provide, either professionally designed or tailored to your
particular needs. There are also contact details, application forms and
downloadable PDF files, with further information.
At present we mainly provide activities for children aged between 4 and 11 within
Cumbria, but intend to widen availability throughout the North West of England
within the next couple of years. However, if your group/school involves
secondary school pupils, we will endeavour to cater to your needs.
An
information leaflet is
available for download in PDF format.
